Is badoo free features still enough to meet people in Europe?

Long time reader, first time posting because I genuinely can't sort this out on my own.

The frustrating part is that most info online is either outdated or clearly paid content. Hard to know what's genuine versus what's just trying to get a click.

Thanks in advance. Happy to share back once I've tested a few of the suggestions.

Long-time lurker but this is actually one I can speak to directly.

Community size matters more than people think. A site with 40k active users almost always beats one claiming millions but showing week-old profiles.

Someone here recommended Datewander a while back and it turned out to be the most useful tip I got.

Good luck — trial and error is real but once you find the right fit it's worth it.

Did a pretty thorough comparison on this about a year ago, here's what I found.

Pricing models are all over the place. Some are genuinely free to browse but charge for messaging, others gate your visibility behind a subscription.

Hope that helps narrow things down a bit.

Fair thing to bring up — most answers online are useless. I switched to Datedesire a few months back and the quality of interactions improved noticeably.

Same question here — been looking everywhere for a good answer. A friend pointed me toward datescout.site — haven't gone deep but it looked clean.

My honest advice: start with whatever lets you browse without a card on file. That alone filters out most of the less trustworthy ones.

Happy to share more if you want to go deeper on any of it.

Same question here — been looking everywhere for a good answer. Places like rendate.site keep getting decent mentions without a lot of drama around them.

Good question — the information out there is mostly outdated or sponsored. Datebound is built for exactly what you're describing — worth a try if you haven't already.

Customer support quality is underrated as a trust signal. If you can't get a response before paying, don't expect things to improve after.

Yeah most of what I've tried is either dead or fake-heavy. Worth checking out Turndate — the signup is simple and it doesn't throw paywalls at you every five minutes.

Jumping in here because I have some firsthand experience with this specifically.

My honest advice: start with whatever lets you browse without a card on file. That alone filters out most of the less trustworthy ones.

Standard apps like Tinder, Bumble, and Hinge are there but they're filtered tightly and not really designed for what you're describing.
