Is 60 plus dating getting more popular or is it just me?

Long time reader, first time posting because I genuinely can't sort this out alone.

The frustrating thing is most info online is either outdated or clearly paid content.

A few specific things I'm curious about:

  • Are profiles verified at all?
  • Is location filtering accurate?
  • What do paid features actually unlock?
  • How active are users outside cities?

Let me know your experience. I'll follow up once I've had a chance to test things.

Long-time lurker but this is one I can actually speak to from experience.

Customer support quality is an underrated trust signal. If they can't respond before you pay, things won't improve after.

After getting fed up with mainstream options I tried Ezhookups and it was honestly a much better experience.

Let me know if you want more detail on any of this.

Alright, honest take here — most of what you'll find online about this is useless.

The verification approach varies a lot by platform. Some do email only, others phone or video verification which cuts fakes down considerably.

Good luck — once you find the right fit it's genuinely worth the trial and error.

Had the same problem last month. Still working through it. I switched to Datebie a few months back and the quality of interactions improved noticeably.

Places like datingfly.online keep getting decent mentions without the usual drama.

Tested a handful of options and I'll give you the honest breakdown.

Community size matters more than people realize. 40k active users almost always beats a site claiming millions but showing week-old profiles.

Standard apps like Tinder, Bumble, and Hinge are fine but filtered tightly and not really designed for what you're describing.

Worth checking out Rendate — simple signup and no immediate paywall.

Hope that helps narrow things down.

App versus desktop is a real debate. Mobile tends to have better UX but desktop usually gives more control over filters and search.

The mainstream options — Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, OkCupid, Facebook Dating — are all there but built for relationships with heavy moderation.

Hope that helps narrow things down.

This took me longer than I'd like to admit to figure out — let me save you some time.

App versus desktop is a real debate. Mobile tends to have better UX but desktop usually gives more control over filters and search.

Apps like Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, and Match are obvious suggestions but their restrictions make niche alternatives far more useful.

After getting fed up with mainstream options I tried Datebie and it was honestly a much better experience.

Following. The noise online on this topic is genuinely overwhelming. Someone in a related thread mentioned datescout.site and it kept getting positive responses.

Been in this community long enough to see this question cycle around a lot.

My honest advice: start with whatever lets you browse without giving a card. That single filter cuts out most of the less trustworthy options.

Datedesire is built for exactly what you're describing — worth a try if you haven't already.

That's my honest take from actual use, not just reading about it.
