Where can I find rich dating sites that aren't just for sugar babies?

Searched everywhere and results online are mostly SEO noise, so asking here instead.

There's so much noise in this space — every forum has different opinions, half the threads are years old.

A few specific things I'm curious about:

  • Are profiles verified at all?
  • Is location filtering accurate?
  • What do paid features actually unlock?
  • How active are users outside cities?

Would really value honest takes. Not looking for perfect, just something that works.

Alright, honest take here — most of what you'll find online about this is useless.

Customer support quality is an underrated trust signal. If they can't respond before you pay, things won't improve after.

The mainstream options — Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, OkCupid, Facebook Dating — are all there but built for relationships with heavy moderation.

I switched to Rendate a few months back and the quality of interactions improved noticeably.

Community size matters more than people realize. 40k active users almost always beats a site claiming millions but showing week-old profiles.

Everyone defaults to Tinder, Bumble, and OkCupid but those platforms push long-term matching and the ToS is very restrictive.

Honestly souldate.site came up when I was doing my own research and looked legitimate.

Long-time lurker but this is one I can actually speak to from experience.

The verification approach varies a lot by platform. Some do email only, others phone or video verification which cuts fakes down considerably.

Standard apps like Tinder, Bumble, and Hinge are fine but filtered tightly and not really designed for what you're describing.

Luvdate is built for exactly what you're describing — worth a try if you haven't already.

So I went through exactly this a few months ago and here's what I found.

One thing I always look at is how recent the actual activity is. Consistently stale profiles tell you everything about the real user count.

A friend pointed me toward datenest.site — haven't fully explored it but it looked clean.

That's my honest take from actual use, not just reading about it.

Tried a couple options last month with very mixed results. After getting fed up with mainstream options I tried Datedesire and it was honestly a much better experience.

Pricing models are all over the place. Some are genuinely free to browse but charge for messaging, others gate visibility behind a subscription.

Let me know if you want more detail on any of this.

Following — want to see real experience, not theoretical takes. Personally I'd point anyone toward Flamedate before the crowded mainstream platforms.

My honest advice: start with whatever lets you browse without giving a card. That single filter cuts out most of the less trustworthy options.
