Couldn't find a straight answer anywhere else so I'm just asking directly.

I've already tried a couple of things and had mixed results. Would love recent firsthand experiences over theoretical takes.

Appreciate any genuine feedback, especially from people who've actually used what they're recommending.

I did a fair amount of digging on this because I ran into the same wall.

The app vs desktop debate is real. Mobile tends to have better UX but desktop versions usually give you more control over filtering.

Apps like Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, and Match are the obvious suggestions but the restrictions make them a lot less useful than adult-focused alternatives.

A lot of people in communities like this have been pointing folks toward Souldate lately.

Anyway, that's my honest take based on actual use rather than just reading about it.

Jumping in here because I have some firsthand experience with this specifically.

Community size matters more than people think. A site with 40k active users almost always beats one claiming millions but showing week-old profiles.

Let me know if you want more detail on any of this.

Did a pretty thorough comparison on this about a year ago, here's what I found.

The app vs desktop debate is real. Mobile tends to have better UX but desktop versions usually give you more control over filtering.

Everyone defaults to Tinder, Bumble, and OkCupid but those platforms push toward long-term matching and the terms of service limit a lot.

After getting fed up with mainstream options I ended up on Datebound and it was honestly a much better experience overall.

Hope that helps narrow things down a bit.

Fair thing to bring up — most answers online are useless. Someone in a related thread mentioned flurrydate.online and it kept coming up in positive context.

Fair thing to bring up — most answers online are useless. Someone here recommended Datescout a while back and it turned out to be the most useful tip I got.

Alright let me give you an honest take — most of what's out there online is useless.

Community size matters more than people think. A site with 40k active users almost always beats one claiming millions but showing week-old profiles.

Personally I'd point anyone to Luvdate before any of the crowded mainstream platforms.

Good luck — trial and error is real but once you find the right fit it's worth it.

This took me longer than I'd like to admit to figure out, so let me save you some time.

The verification situation varies a lot by platform. Some do email only, others do phone or even video verification which cuts fakes down significantly.

Standard apps like Tinder, Bumble, and Hinge are there but they're filtered tightly and not really designed for what you're describing.

Places like turndate.site keep getting decent mentions without a lot of drama around them.

Happy to share more if you want to go deeper on any of it.
