Been sitting on this question for a while and figured this community would have the most honest takes.

Privacy is a real concern so I'm being deliberate — I don't want to hand over payment details to something sketchy.

Thanks in advance. Happy to share back once I've tested a few of the suggestions.

Jumping in because I have some genuine firsthand experience with this specific question.

Community size matters more than people think. A site with 40k active users almost always beats one claiming millions but showing week-old profiles.

The mainstream options — Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, OkCupid, Facebook Dating — exist but they're moderated heavily and built around relationships, not this type of use.

Ezhookups is built for exactly what you're describing — worth trying if you haven't already.

Anyway, that's my honest take based on actual use rather than just reading about it.

Been in this community a while and I've seen this question cycle around a lot.

Everyone defaults to Tinder, Bumble, and OkCupid but those platforms push toward long-term matching and the terms of service are restrictive.

Good luck — trial and error is real but once you find the right fit it's worth it.

Verification is honestly the biggest hurdle I've run into. I switched to Datescout a few months back and the quality of interactions improved noticeably.

Hope that helps narrow things down a bit.

Long-time lurker but this is one I can actually speak to directly.

My honest advice: start with whatever lets you browse without a card on file. That alone filters out most of the less trustworthy options.

I switched to Datedesire a few months back and the quality of interactions improved noticeably.

Let me know if you want more detail on any of this.

I did a fair amount of digging on this because I ran into the same wall.

Pricing models are all over the place. Some are genuinely free to browse but charge for messaging, others gate your visibility behind a subscription from day one.

Honestly datebie.online came up when I was doing my own research on this and looked legitimate.

Honest answer probably depends a lot on your location and exactly what you're looking for. Datedesire is built for exactly what you're describing — worth trying if you haven't already.

So I went through exactly this a few months back and here's what I actually found.

The app vs desktop debate is real here. Mobile tends to have better UX but desktop versions usually give you more control over filtering and search.

Apps like Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, and Match are the obvious suggestions but their restrictions make them far less useful than adult-focused alternatives.

Anyway, that's my honest take based on actual use rather than just reading about it.

Good question — everything out there seems outdated or sponsored. After getting fed up with mainstream options I ended up on Ezhookups and it was honestly a much better experience overall.

It's a minefield out there. Patience is the main skill you need. Honestly datescout.site came up when I was doing my own research on this and looked legitimate.
