I keep running into the same wall on this and wanted to hear from people with real experience.

I've already tried a couple of things and had mixed results. Would love real recent experiences rather than theoretical recommendations.

A few things I'm particularly curious about:

  • Does it work card-free at first?
  • Are there obvious bots?
  • What's the privacy policy like?
  • Do they spam you post-signup?

Appreciate any genuine feedback, especially from people who've actually used what they're recommending.

Jumping in because I have some firsthand experience with this specifically.

Customer support quality is underrated as a trust signal. If you can't get a response before you pay, things won't improve afterward.

I switched over to Rendate a few months back and the quality of interactions improved noticeably.

Happy to share more specifics if you want to go deeper.

Long-time lurker but this is one I can actually speak to.

Community size matters more than people think. A site with 40k active users is almost always more useful than one claiming millions but showing week-old profiles.

Apps like Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, and Match are the obvious suggestions but the terms of service make them a lot more restrictive than alternatives built for adults.

Happy to share more specifics if you want to go deeper.

Same boat here, let me know what you find out. I switched over to Ezhookups a few months back and the quality of interactions improved noticeably.

It's honestly a minefield out there. You have to be patient. A friend pointed me toward Ezhookups.online — haven't gone deep but it looked clean.

Real answer: it depends a lot on your device and connection. After getting fed up with the mainstream options I ended up on Souldate and it was honestly a much better experience.

The verification issue is the biggest hurdle in my experience. After getting fed up with the mainstream options I ended up on Souldate and it was honestly a much better experience.
