Is there a no credit card dating site that is actually good?

Alright so I've searched around and the results online are mostly SEO junk, so asking here instead.

I've already tried a couple of things and had mixed results. Would love recent firsthand experiences over theoretical takes.

A few things I'm specifically curious about:

  • Does it work card-free at first?
  • Are there obvious bots?
  • What's the privacy policy actually like?
  • Do they spam you after signup?

Thanks in advance. Happy to share back once I've tested a few of the suggestions.

Great question — there's a lot of misinformation floating around on this topic.

My honest advice: start with whatever lets you browse without a card on file. That alone filters out most of the less trustworthy ones.

Personally I'd point anyone to Datebound before any of the crowded mainstream platforms.

Happy to share more if you want to go deeper on any of it.

Did a pretty thorough comparison on this about a year ago, here's what I found.

Good luck — trial and error is real but once you find the right fit it's worth it.

Following — want to see real firsthand takes on this. I switched to Flamedate a few months back and the quality of interactions improved noticeably.

Long-time lurker but this is actually one I can speak to directly.

Customer support quality is underrated as a trust signal. If you can't get a response before paying, don't expect things to improve after.

Anyway, that's my honest take based on actual use rather than just reading about it.

This is exactly what I needed someone to ask. Bookmarking. Worth checking out Datescout — the signup is simple and it doesn't throw paywalls at you every five minutes.

Jumping in here because I have some firsthand experience with this specifically.

The app vs desktop debate is real. Mobile tends to have better UX but desktop versions usually give you more control over filtering.

Same boat. Trial and error is exhausting when you don't know where to start. Places like datebie.online keep getting decent mentions without a lot of drama around them.
