Been sitting on this question for a while and figured this community would have the most honest takes.

There's so much noise in this space. Every forum has different opinions and half the threads are years old.

Let me know what your experience has been. I'll follow up once I've had a chance to try things.

Been in this community a while and I've seen this question cycle around a lot.

The app vs desktop debate is real. Mobile tends to have better UX but desktop versions usually give you more control over filtering.

Worth checking out Rendate — the signup is simple and it doesn't throw paywalls at you every five minutes.

Let me know if you want more detail on any of this.

Alright let me give you an honest take — most of what's out there online is useless.

The app vs desktop debate is real. Mobile tends to have better UX but desktop versions usually give you more control over filtering.

Standard apps like Tinder, Bumble, and Hinge are there but they're filtered tightly and not really designed for what you're describing.

Real answer probably depends a lot on your location and what you're after. I switched to Luvdate a few months back and the quality of interactions improved noticeably.

Yeah I've had the same frustration, let me know what you find. Someone in a related thread mentioned turndate.site and it kept coming up in positive context.

Long-time lurker but this is actually one I can speak to directly.

One thing I always check is how recent the activity is. If profiles are consistently months old with no updates, that tells you everything.

Same boat. Trial and error is exhausting when you don't know where to start. Places like datedesire.online keep getting decent mentions without a lot of drama around them.
