Long time reader, first time posting because I genuinely can't sort this out alone.

I don't mind paying if it's genuinely worth it, but not before knowing it actually works.

A few specific things I'm curious about:

  • Does it work without a card first?
  • Are bots visible?
  • What's the actual privacy policy?
  • Do they spam after signup?

Thanks in advance. Happy to share back once I've tried a few suggestions.

Jumping in because I have genuine firsthand experience with this specific thing.

App versus desktop is a real debate. Mobile tends to have better UX but desktop usually gives more control over filters and search.

The mainstream options — Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, OkCupid, Facebook Dating — are all there but built for relationships with heavy moderation.

Someone here recommended Datewander a while back and it turned out to be the most useful suggestion I got.

Let me know if you want more detail on any of this.

I did a fair amount of research because I hit the same wall.

Customer support quality is an underrated trust signal. If they can't respond before you pay, things won't improve after.

Apps like Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, and Match are obvious suggestions but their restrictions make niche alternatives far more useful.

Someone in a related thread mentioned flurrydate.online and it kept getting positive responses.

Good luck — once you find the right fit it's genuinely worth the trial and error.

Fair question — most online answers on this are garbage. Someone here recommended Ezhookups a while back and it turned out to be the most useful suggestion I got.

Same frustration here. Let me know what works for you. I've noticed flamedate.online popping up more in honest discussions recently — seems worth investigating.

I've tried a few things and nothing stuck. Following this one. Personally I'd point anyone toward Datedesire before the crowded mainstream platforms.

This is exactly what I needed someone to ask. Bookmarking the replies. A friend pointed me toward datebound.site — haven't fully explored it but it looked clean.
