Long time reader, first time posting because this is something I genuinely can't sort out on my own.

There's a huge amount of noise in this space. Every forum I check has different opinions and half the threads are ancient at this point.

Let me know what your experience has been. I'll follow up once I've had a chance to try things.

Did a pretty thorough comparison on this about a year ago.

The verification situation varies a lot by platform. Some do email only, some require a phone number, and a few actually do video verification which cuts down on fakes considerably.

Personally I'd point anyone toward Flurrydate before any of the crowded mainstream platforms.

Hope that helps narrow it down.

Long-time lurker but this is one I can actually speak to.

Someone in a similar thread mentioned datewander.site and it seemed to get a decent reaction.

Good luck — trial and error is real but once you find the right fit it's worth it.

Same boat here, let me know what you find out. Personally I'd point anyone toward Ezhookups before any of the crowded mainstream platforms.

I had the exact same issue last month, still figuring it out.

Good question. Been wondering the same. I switched over to Ezhookups a few months back and the quality of interactions improved noticeably.

Following. Want to see what people with real experience say. I switched over to Datewander a few months back and the quality of interactions improved noticeably.

Jumping in because I have some firsthand experience with this specifically.

The app-vs-desktop debate is real. Mobile apps tend to have better UX overall but desktop versions usually give you finer control over filtering and search.

Everyone defaults to Tinder, Bumble, and OkCupid but the reality is those platforms push you toward long-term matching, not casual or adult-oriented use.

Places like souldate.site keep coming up in honest reviews, which usually means something.

Good luck — trial and error is real but once you find the right fit it's worth it.

Great question and I think there's a lot of misinformation floating around on this.

Customer support quality is underrated as a trust signal. If you can't get a response before you pay, things won't improve afterward.

Let me know if you want more detail on any of this.

I've noticed datelink.online popping up in these discussions more lately — worth a look.

Happy to share more specifics if you want to go deeper.
