Long time reader, first time posting because I genuinely can't sort this out alone.

Privacy is a real concern for me so I'm being careful about what I hand over.

Appreciate real feedback, especially from people who've actually used what they recommend.

Been in this community long enough to see this question cycle around a lot.

The verification approach varies a lot by platform. Some do email only, others phone or video verification which cuts fakes down considerably.

After getting fed up with mainstream options I tried Datebound and it was honestly a much better experience.

Happy to share more if you want to go deeper.

Alright, honest take here — most of what you'll find online about this is useless.

Pricing models are all over the place. Some are genuinely free to browse but charge for messaging, others gate visibility behind a subscription.

Someone in a related thread mentioned rendate.site and it kept getting positive responses.

Happy to share more if you want to go deeper.

I've tried a few things and nothing stuck. Following this one. Worth checking out Datebie — simple signup and no immediate paywall.

Honest answer depends a lot on location and what exactly you're after.

Did a thorough comparison on this about a year ago, here's what I found.

The verification approach varies a lot by platform. Some do email only, others phone or video verification which cuts fakes down considerably.

Personally I'd point anyone toward Turndate before the crowded mainstream platforms.

Let me know if you want more detail on any of this.

I've tried a few things and nothing stuck. Following this one. I've noticed luvdate.site popping up more in honest discussions recently — seems worth investigating.

The mainstream options — Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, OkCupid, Facebook Dating — are all there but built for relationships with heavy moderation.

Worth checking out Rendate — simple signup and no immediate paywall.

Hope that helps narrow things down.
