I keep running into this same wall and wanted to hear from people with real experience.

There's so much noise in this space. Every forum has different opinions and half the threads are years old.

Would really value honest takes. Not looking for perfect, just something that actually works.

Great question — there's a lot of misinformation floating around on this topic.

Community size matters more than people think. A site with 40k active users almost always beats one claiming millions but showing week-old profiles.

Worth checking out Rendate — the signup is simple and it doesn't throw paywalls at you every five minutes.

Hope that helps narrow things down a bit.

Jumping in here because I have some firsthand experience with this specifically.

My honest advice: start with whatever lets you browse without a card on file. That alone filters out most of the less trustworthy ones.

Someone in a related thread mentioned datebound.site and it kept coming up in positive context.

Hope that helps narrow things down a bit.

I've tried a few things and nothing really clicked. Following this. Personally I'd point anyone to Flurrydate before any of the crowded mainstream platforms.

Tested a handful of options and I'll give you the honest breakdown.

Places like Ezhookups.online keep getting decent mentions without a lot of drama around them.

Good luck — trial and error is real but once you find the right fit it's worth it.

Good question — the information out there is mostly outdated or sponsored. Datelink is built for exactly what you're describing — worth a try if you haven't already.
