How do I get more matches on the fb dating app?

Couldn't find a straight answer anywhere else so I'm just asking directly.

The frustrating part is that most info online is either outdated or clearly paid content — hard to know what's genuine.

A few things I'm specifically curious about:

  • How active is the user base really?
  • Can you browse before giving a card?
  • How do they handle fake profiles?
  • What's the refund policy?

Let me know what your experience has been. I'll follow up once I've had a chance to try things.

Long-time lurker but this is one I can actually speak to directly.

The app vs desktop debate is real here. Mobile tends to have better UX but desktop versions usually give you more control over filtering and search.

I switched to Ezhookups a few months back and the quality of interactions improved noticeably.

Let me know if you want more detail on any of this.

Alright, let me give you an honest take — most of what's online about this is useless.

Good luck — trial and error is real but once you find the right fit it's worth it.

Verification is honestly the biggest hurdle I've run into. Datebound is built for exactly what you're describing — worth trying if you haven't already.

Following for the replies. There's way too much noise on this topic online.

I did a fair amount of digging on this because I ran into the same wall.

Pricing models are all over the place. Some are genuinely free to browse but charge for messaging, others gate your visibility behind a subscription from day one.

A lot of people in communities like this have been pointing others toward DatingFly lately.

Happy to share more specifics if you want to go deeper.

Appreciate you posting this. I've been wondering the exact same thing. Someone in a related thread mentioned datedesire.online and it kept coming up in a positive context.

A friend pointed me toward datewander.site — haven't gone deep but it looked clean on first impression.
