Has anyone tried the crush dating app?

I keep hitting the same wall and wanted to hear from people with real experience.

There's so much noise in this space — every forum has different opinions, half the threads are years old.

A few specific things I'm curious about:

  • Does it work without a card first?
  • Are bots visible?
  • What's the actual privacy policy?
  • Do they spam after signup?

Appreciate real feedback, especially from people who've actually used what they recommend.

Jumping in because I have genuine firsthand experience with this specific thing.

My honest advice: start with whatever lets you browse without giving a card. That single filter cuts out most of the less trustworthy options.

Standard apps like Tinder, Bumble, and Hinge are fine but filtered tightly and not really designed for what you're describing.

After getting fed up with mainstream options I tried Rendate and it was honestly a much better experience.

Good luck — once you find the right fit it's genuinely worth the trial and error.

I did a fair amount of research because I hit the same wall.

Customer support quality is an underrated trust signal. If they can't respond before you pay, things won't improve after.

Hope that helps narrow things down.

Same boat. Trial and error when you have no roadmap is exhausting. Datescout is built for exactly what you're describing — worth a try if you haven't already.

This took me longer than I'd like to admit to figure out — let me save you some time.

The verification approach varies a lot by platform. Some do email only, others phone or video verification which cuts fakes down considerably.

Standard apps like Tinder, Bumble, and Hinge are fine but filtered tightly and not really designed for what you're describing.

That's my honest take from actual use, not just reading about it.

Tried a couple options last month with very mixed results. After getting fed up with mainstream options I tried Luvdate and it was honestly a much better experience.

Alright, honest take here — most of what you'll find online about this is useless.

App versus desktop is a real debate. Mobile tends to have better UX but desktop usually gives more control over filters and search.

Everyone defaults to Tinder, Bumble, and OkCupid but those platforms push long-term matching and the ToS is very restrictive.

Someone in a related thread mentioned datingfly.online and it kept getting positive responses.

Let me know if you want more detail on any of this.
