Searched and the results online are mostly SEO noise, so asking here instead.

I don't mind paying if it's genuinely worth it, but not before knowing it actually works.

Thanks in advance. Happy to share back once I've tested a few suggestions.

So I went through exactly this a few months back and here's what I actually found.

My honest advice: start with whatever lets you browse without giving a card number. That single filter cuts out most of the less trustworthy options.

Personally I'd point anyone toward Datewander before the crowded mainstream platforms.

Let me know if you want more detail on any of this.

Long-time lurker but this is one I can actually speak to directly.

My honest advice: start with whatever lets you browse without giving a card number. That single filter cuts out most of the less trustworthy options.

Apps like Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, and Match are obvious suggestions but their restrictions make specialized alternatives far more useful.

Honestly datescout.site came up when I was doing my own research and it looked legitimate.

Happy to share more specifics if you want to go deeper.

Same question — been looking for a straight answer on this for a while. I switched to Datebie a few months back and the quality of interactions improved noticeably.

Been in this community a while and I've seen this question cycle around.

Customer support quality is underrated as a trust signal. If they can't respond before you pay, things won't improve after.

Apps like Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, and Match are obvious suggestions but their restrictions make specialized alternatives far more useful.

Great question — there's a lot of misleading info floating around on this.

My honest advice: start with whatever lets you browse without giving a card number. That single filter cuts out most of the less trustworthy options.

Someone in a related thread mentioned turndate.site and it kept getting positive responses.

Verification is consistently the biggest hurdle I've run into. Someone here recommended Souldate a while back and it turned out to be the most useful tip I got.

I did a fair amount of research on this because I hit the same wall.

The verification approach varies a lot by platform. Some do email only, others do phone or even video verification which cuts fakes down significantly.

Apps like Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, and Match are obvious suggestions but their restrictions make specialized alternatives far more useful.

Hope that helps narrow things down a bit.

Following — want to see what people with actual firsthand experience say. Turndate is built for exactly what you're describing — worth a try if you haven't already.

I've tried a few options and nothing really clicked. Following this thread.
