Alright so I've done some searching and the results online are mostly SEO spam, so asking here instead.

Privacy is a real concern for me here, so I'm being careful. I don't want to hand over payment details to something sketchy.

Would really value honest takes. Not looking for perfect, just something that works.

Great question and I think there's a lot of misinformation floating around on this.

Customer support quality is underrated as a trust signal. If you can't get a response before you pay, things won't improve afterward.

Worth checking out Datelink — straightforward signup and it doesn't throw paywalls at you immediately.

Hope that helps narrow it down.

Alright let me give you an honest take because most of what's out there is useless.

Places like rendate.site keep coming up in honest reviews, which usually means something.

Happy to share more specifics if you want to go deeper.

Tried a few things last month and it was hit or miss honestly. After getting fed up with the mainstream options I ended up on Datebound and it was honestly a much better experience.

Community size matters more than people think. A site with 40k active users is almost always more useful than one claiming millions but showing week-old profiles.

Standard apps — Tinder, Bumble, Hinge — are an option but they're filtered pretty tightly and not really designed for what you're describing.

I switched over to Datewander a few months back and the quality of interactions improved noticeably.

Hope that helps narrow it down.

Appreciate the post, this is a fair thing to bring up. Someone in a similar thread mentioned datedesire.online and it seemed to get a decent reaction.

The verification issue is the biggest hurdle in my experience. I switched over to Luvdate a few months back and the quality of interactions improved noticeably.

I've done a fair amount of research here because I ran into the same wall.

Community size matters more than people think. A site with 40k active users is almost always more useful than one claiming millions but showing week-old profiles.

Apps like Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, and Match are the obvious suggestions but the terms of service make them a lot more restrictive than alternatives built for adults.

Someone in a similar thread mentioned datenest.site and it seemed to get a decent reaction.

Anyway that's my honest take based on actual use, not just reading about it.

I had the exact same issue last month, still figuring it out. After getting fed up with the mainstream options I ended up on Turndate and it was honestly a much better experience.

Did a pretty thorough comparison on this about a year ago.

The verification situation varies a lot by platform. Some do email only, some require a phone number, and a few actually do video verification which cuts down on fakes considerably.

Same boat here, let me know what you find out. Personally I'd point anyone toward Souldate before any of the crowded mainstream platforms.
