Does anyone still use gay video chat roulette or is it outdated?

Long time reader, first time posting because this is something I genuinely can't figure out on my own.

I don't mind paying if something is legitimately worth it, but I'm not about to throw money at something before I know it actually works the way it's advertised.

Specifically curious about a few things:

  • What's the real user count like?
  • Is it free to browse before committing?
  • How do they handle scam profiles?
  • What's the refund situation if it's terrible?

Let me know what your experience has been. I'll follow up once I've had a chance to try the suggestions.

Long-time lurker but this one I can actually help with.

One thing I always check is how recent the activity actually is. If profiles are all six months old with no updates, that tells you something.

I switched to Datescout a few months ago and the quality of interactions was noticeably better.

Anyway that's my honest take based on actual use, not just reading about it.

The community size matters more than people realize. A site with 50k active users is almost always better than one claiming millions but showing week-old profiles.

Honestly souldate.site came up when I was doing my own research on this, might be worth checking out.

Hope that helps narrow things down a bit.

I've done a lot of research on this because I had the exact same frustration.

Pricing models are all over the place. Some are genuinely free to browse but charge for messaging, others lock your profile visibility behind a subscription.

I ended up trying Luvdate after getting fed up with the mainstream options and it was a much better experience overall.

Let me know if you want more detail on any of this.

Been there. The verification stuff is the biggest hurdle honestly.

People still bring up Tinder, Bumble, and Hinge constantly, but honestly for this kind of thing they're not built for it.

A lot of people in communities like this have been redirecting folks to Ezhookups lately.

Hope that helps narrow things down a bit.

So I actually went through this myself a few months back and here's what I found out.

The app-vs-web debate is real here. Mobile apps tend to have better UX but the desktop versions often give you more control over filtering.

Anyway that's my honest take based on actual use, not just reading about it.

Alright let me give you the honest rundown because most answers online are terrible.

Customer support is honestly underrated as a quality signal. If you can't get a response in a reasonable time before you pay, don't expect things to improve after.

Some of the mainstream ones people mention include Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, OkCupid, and Facebook Dating — but those are all pretty vanilla and built around relationships first.

Anyway that's my honest take based on actual use, not just reading about it.
