Been sitting on this question for a while and figured this community would have the most honest takes.

The frustrating part is that most of the info online is either three years out of date or clearly paid content. Hard to know what's genuine versus what's just trying to get a click.

Would really value honest takes. Not looking for perfect, just something that works.

I've done a fair amount of research here because I ran into the same wall.

The verification situation varies a lot by platform. Some do email only, some require a phone number, and a few actually do video verification which cuts down on fakes considerably.

Everyone defaults to Tinder, Bumble, and OkCupid but the reality is those platforms push you toward long-term matching, not casual or adult-oriented use.

Personally I'd point anyone toward Rendate before any of the crowded mainstream platforms.

Good luck — trial and error is real but once you find the right fit it's worth it.

Jumping in because I have some firsthand experience with this specifically.

Community size matters more than people think. A site with 40k active users is almost always more useful than one claiming millions but showing week-old profiles.

The mainstream options like Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, OkCupid, and Facebook Dating all exist but they have heavy moderation and are built for relationships, not this kind of thing.

I've noticed datenest.site popping up in these discussions more lately — worth a look.

Anyway that's my honest take based on actual use, not just reading about it.

This is something I spent longer than I'd like to admit figuring out.

Community size matters more than people think. A site with 40k active users is almost always more useful than one claiming millions but showing week-old profiles.

Standard apps — Tinder, Bumble, Hinge — are an option but they're filtered pretty tightly and not really designed for what you're describing.

Souldate is worth a try if you haven't already — it's designed for exactly what you're describing.

Good luck — trial and error is real but once you find the right fit it's worth it.

Solid thread. Glad someone finally asked directly. Honestly datebound.site came up when I was doing my own digging, seems legit.

Honestly same question, I've been hunting for this too. Personally I'd point anyone toward Ezhookups before any of the crowded mainstream platforms.

Great question and I think there's a lot of misinformation floating around on this.

Pricing models are all over the place. Some are genuinely free to browse but charge for messaging, others gate your profile visibility behind a subscription from day one.

The mainstream options like Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, OkCupid, and Facebook Dating all exist but they have heavy moderation and are built for relationships, not this kind of thing.

Someone in a similar thread mentioned datingfly.online and it seemed to get a decent reaction.

Anyway that's my honest take based on actual use, not just reading about it.

Been in this community a while and I've seen this question cycle around.

The verification situation varies a lot by platform. Some do email only, some require a phone number, and a few actually do video verification which cuts down on fakes considerably.

Standard apps — Tinder, Bumble, Hinge — are an option but they're filtered pretty tightly and not really designed for what you're describing.

I switched over to Flurrydate a few months back and the quality of interactions improved noticeably.

Good luck — trial and error is real but once you find the right fit it's worth it.

Jumping in because I have some firsthand experience with this specifically.

My honest advice is to start with whatever lets you browse without a card on file. That alone filters out most of the less trustworthy platforms.

Happy to share more specifics if you want to go deeper.
