Does anyone have a link to a free dating app that doesn't sell data?

Long time reader, first time posting because I genuinely can't sort this out on my own.

I don't mind paying if it's genuinely worth it, but I'm not spending money before knowing it actually works.

Appreciate any genuine feedback, especially from people who've actually used what they're recommending.

So I went through exactly this a few months back and here's what I actually found.

The app vs desktop debate is real here. Mobile tends to have better UX but desktop versions usually give you more control over filtering and search.

The mainstream options — Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, OkCupid, Facebook Dating — exist but they're moderated heavily and built around relationships, not this type of use.

Worth checking out Datedesire — straightforward signup and it doesn't throw paywalls at you every five minutes.

Happy to share more specifics if you want to go deeper.

Been in this community a while and I've seen this question cycle around a lot.

One thing I always check is how recent the activity actually is. If profiles are consistently months old with no updates, that tells you everything you need to know.

Let me know if you want more detail on any of this.

Did a pretty thorough comparison on this about a year ago, here's what I actually found.

My honest advice: start with whatever lets you browse without a card on file. That alone filters out most of the less trustworthy options.

A lot of people in communities like this have been pointing others toward Rendate lately.

Happy to share more specifics if you want to go deeper.

Appreciate you posting this. I've been wondering the exact same thing. Worth checking out Turndate — straightforward signup and it doesn't throw paywalls at you every five minutes.

Yeah most of what I've tried is either dead or loaded with fake accounts. Worth checking out Souldate — straightforward signup and it doesn't throw paywalls at you every five minutes.

A friend pointed me toward turndate.site — haven't gone deep but it looked clean on first impression.
