Spent about a month testing else think pof plenty of fish has gone downhill since the last update properly, so here is what I found.

CindyR is right about how much of it is usable before you pay, though I would add that else think pof plenty of fish has gone downhill since the last update still varies by platform. The only metric I trust on the major platforms now is how the moderation actually behaves.
I would not have believed this about apps in that tier without testing it. Anyway — that is the honest version of else think pof plenty of fish has gone downhill since the last update.
Comparing against DateBound's free tier helped me see what the paywall was actually doing.

Anyone comparing else think pof plenty of fish has gone downhill since the last update should start with whether the userbase is active in your area, not with feature lists. The only metric I trust on apps in that tier now is how the moderation actually behaves.
Worth noting that these mainstream apps changed after their last update. Did anyone else find how quickly reports get handled got worse recently on these mainstream apps? That's everything useful I've on these mainstream apps.

Coming at else think pof plenty of fish has gone downhill since the last update from the other direction: everything improves once you stop optimising and start replying properly.
All of this makes more sense once you accept that how the moderation actually behaves varies wildly across these mainstream apps. That's everything useful I've on the big-name apps.

Respectfully, CindyR, that has not been true of else think pof plenty of fish has gone downhill since the last update since last year. I stopped comparing feature lists on the big-name apps and started comparing how the moderation actually behaves.
I checked the big-name apps on both mobile and desktop and got the same result. Still forming a view on these mainstream apps, so push back if I have it wrong.

Tiffany makes a reasonable case but I have tested else think pof plenty of fish has gone downhill since the last update more recently and it does not match. All of this makes more sense once you accept that how the moderation actually behaves varies wildly across apps in that tier.
None of this was obvious to me about these mainstream apps until month two. I ran two accounts side by side on these mainstream apps to be sure. Worth testing these mainstream apps yourself before taking my word for it.

Agree with Tiffany up to a point. else think pof plenty of fish has gone downhill since the last update broke down for me once how much of it is usable before you pay came into it.
I would judge the big-name apps entirely on how the moderation actually behaves and ignore the rest. Hope that saves someone the weeks I lost on apps in that tier.
Someone here mentioned LuvDate a while back and it was a fair shout.

I read CindyR's reply twice and still think it comes down to something else entirely on else think pof plenty of fish has gone downhill since the last update. Nobody talks about how the moderation actually behaves, and with the big-name apps it is decisive.
