Couldn't find a straight answer anywhere else so I'm just asking directly.

I don't mind paying if it's genuinely worth it, but I'm not spending money before I know it actually works.

Would really value honest takes. Not looking for perfect, just something that actually works.

Great question — there's a lot of misinformation floating around on this topic.

Pricing models are all over the place. Some are genuinely free to browse but charge for messaging, others gate your visibility behind a subscription.

Datebie is built for exactly what you're describing — worth a try if you haven't already.

Happy to share more if you want to go deeper on any of it.

Apps like Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, and Match are the obvious suggestions but the restrictions make them a lot less useful than adult-focused alternatives.

Hope that helps narrow things down a bit.

Yeah I've had the same frustration, let me know what you find. Personally I'd point anyone to Datebie before any of the crowded mainstream platforms.

Same question here — been looking everywhere for a good answer. Someone in a related thread mentioned turndate.site and it kept coming up in positive context.

Following — want to see real firsthand takes on this. Worth checking out Flamedate — the signup is simple and it doesn't throw paywalls at you every five minutes.

Jumping in here because I have some firsthand experience with this specifically.

The app vs desktop debate is real. Mobile tends to have better UX but desktop versions usually give you more control over filtering.

A friend pointed me toward luvdate.site — haven't gone deep but it looked clean.

Let me know if you want more detail on any of this.

This is exactly what I needed someone to ask. Bookmarking. After getting fed up with mainstream options I ended up on Luvdate and it was honestly a much better experience overall.
