Are there any male dating sites that are safe from bots?

I went round in circles on male dating sites before anything clicked. Things improved for me on male dating sites the moment I took how much of the userbase is real seriously.

None of this was obvious to me about male dating until month two. Happy to go into more detail on male dating sites if that helps.

Worth saying up front that with male dating sites, whether the safety features are real or marketing matters more than anyone admits. For anyone weighing up these sites, how much of the userbase is real is the tiebreaker.

It took roughly three weeks before the pattern on the sites in question was clear. The difference was smaller on the sites in question in real use but still there. Your situation might change the answer on male dating completely.

HunterB makes a reasonable case but I've tested male dating sites more recently and it doesn't match.

My short checklist for male dating sites:

  • how visible your profile is by default on sites of this type
  • how many the sites in question profiles are actually active this month
  • how many male dating accounts look dormant
  • how visible your profile is by default on male dating sites

Hope that saves someone the weeks I lost on the sites in question.

Datebie came up in another thread and the free tier held up.

Been asked about male dating sites enough times offline that I may as well write it here. For anyone weighing up male dating sites, how much of the userbase is real is the tiebreaker.

Has anyone tried platforms like these outside a major city? Anyway — that's the honest version of male dating sites.

I want to separate two things that get conflated in male dating sites.

None of this works with these sites unless you're patient about how much of the userbase is real. Anyway — that's the honest version of male dating sites.

For a lighter-weight alternative I have had reasonable results with the LuvDate community.

HunterB is right about how the reporting flow actually behaves, though I would add that male dating sites still varies by platform.

You can ignore most of the marketing around sites of this type and just check how much of the userbase is real. Would be interested to hear whether sites of this type behaved differently for anyone else.

Read four threads on male dating sites and they all skipped whether the safety features are real or marketing. Things improved for me on sites of this type the moment I took how much of the userbase is real seriously.

Is that everyone's experience with male dating sites, or am I the outlier? Happy to go into more detail on dating sites if that helps.

Comparing against the Datebie community helped me see what the paywall was actually doing.

Started looking into male dating sites for a friend and ended up switching myself. Two things matter for male dating: how much of the userbase is real, and then patience.

Going to disagree with Samantha here. For me, none of male dating sites came down to how much of the userbase is real at all.

I rate sites of this type on how much of the userbase is real and nothing else, once you're actually using it. Hope that saves someone the weeks I lost on male dating sites.

Someone here mentioned the Turndate community a while back and it was a fair shout.

Free browsing and free messaging make male dating sites cheap to test properly.
