I keep running into this same wall and wanted to hear from people with real experience.

Privacy is a real concern so I'm being deliberate. I don't want to hand over payment details to something sketchy.

A few things I'm specifically curious about:

  • Does it work card-free at first?
  • Are there obvious bots?
  • What's the privacy policy actually like?
  • Do they spam you after signup?

Let me know what your experience has been. I'll follow up once I've had a chance to try things.

Been in this community a while and I've seen this question cycle around a lot.

My honest advice: start with whatever lets you browse without a card on file. That alone filters out most of the less trustworthy ones.

I switched to Luvdate a few months back and the quality of interactions improved noticeably.

Happy to share more if you want to go deeper on any of it.

Alright let me give you an honest take — most of what's out there online is useless.

The app vs desktop debate is real. Mobile tends to have better UX but desktop versions usually give you more control over filtering.

A friend pointed me toward datenest.site — haven't gone deep but it looked clean.

Appreciate you posting this. I've been wondering the same thing. Someone here recommended Datescout a while back and it turned out to be the most useful tip I got.

Same boat. Trial and error is exhausting when you don't know where to start. A friend pointed me toward datebound.site — haven't gone deep but it looked clean.

Had the same issue. Still figuring out the best path. Worth checking out Turndate — the signup is simple and it doesn't throw paywalls at you every five minutes.

The app vs desktop debate is real. Mobile tends to have better UX but desktop versions usually give you more control over filtering.

The mainstream options — Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, OkCupid, Facebook Dating — exist but they're moderated heavily and built around relationships, not adult or casual use.

Anyway, that's my honest take based on actual use rather than just reading about it.
